Thomas Clough Daffern
Dr. Thomas Clough Daffern (born May 8, 1956 in Montreal, Canada),[1] is a Welsh educator, author and peace advocate.
After graduation from the University of London, he taught at UAL and Oxford University. He has since its foundation been the director of The International Institute Of Peace Studies and Global Philosophy,[2] and is also known to have formed the Order of St. Thomas.[3] He was until September 2008 the head of Religion and Philosophy at Poole Grammar School.
Now based in Powys, he specialises in interfaith dispute resolution and the history of spirituality and the philosophy of peace, and is the founder of the Multifaith and Multicultural Mediation Service.[4]
