Third Voice
Third Voice was a web annotation browser plug-in launched in 1999 by a company of the same name. It allowed users with the plug-in to comment on a website in a sidebar. The product received much criticism by website owners claiming they were trying to externalize discussion.[1] The company discontinued the product in April 2001.[2]
