The Marriage of the Bear (Russian: Медвежья свадьба, translit. Medvezhya svadba) is a 1925 Soviet silent horror-fantasy drama film directed by Konstantin Eggert and Vladimir Gardin.[1] It is based on the play with the same name by Anatoli Lunacharsky, in its turn based on Prosper Mérimée's novella Lokis.
The film's sets were designed by the art director Vladimir Yegorov.
