The Gadget Guys Foundation is a federally registered 501 C3 corporation founded on June 2015 by Tres Watson on the premise that people in need, who live below the poverty line, or are struggling need help with technology but often can't afford to pay the price tag of a consultant.[1] Its mission is to provide access, education and technology products to underserved communities including disabled individuals, seniors and those living on or below the poverty line to empower those individuals to greater social mobility and inclusion.[2]
The Gadget Guys Foundation claims to provide access and education to underserved communities.[3] Tres, and his group The Gadget Guys Foundation was profiled in the LGBT Weekly's November 25 edition for their work in the community including ways in which they have created meaningful progress in serving the underserved in a piece entitled "Connecting people in need with tomorrow's technology", including appreciative quotes from community organizations such as the Lambda Archives, the Hillcrest Town Council, The Bankers Hill Social club, as well as several other community organizations helped by the efforts of Tres's group.[4][5]
