Techno India University is a private university in Kolkata, in the state of West Bengal in India. Its campus is in the Salt Lake City district. It was inaugurated on 7 August 2012, by the chief minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee.[1][2] [3][4]

Admission

Techno India University, West Bengal encourages student admission in Engineering through WBJEE , JEE Main and Techno National Joint Entrance Examination (TNJEE). TNJEE is an Online Entrance Examination for Graduates, Post-Graduates and Doctorate level admissions. For maintaining the quality of education, students are required to clear any of these examinations for admission. Techno India University is UGC approved, and maintains UGC guidelines for all its academic curriculum and activities. There is a provision for direct admission for a limited number of Non-resident Indian/Foreign National students.

Library

The library is one of the key sources of knowledge at Techno India University. One of the library's roles is to support and sponsor various study, teaching research and development programs from time to time.

Culture

Sahotsava is the cultural festival, Vivarta is the technical festival and Rudra is the sports festival organized every year at the university.
