Taygetis rectifascia is a species of butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in southeastern and southern Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina) at altitudes ranging from 300 to 1,200 meters.
Adults have been recorded year round.[2]
