Svydovets
The Svydovets (in Ukrainian Свидівець; in Russian Свидовец/Swidowez; in Polish Świdowiec; in Czech and Slovak Svidovec; in German Swydiwez) is a mountain range in western Ukraine, one range among the Eastern Beskids and the Ukrainian Carpathians, itself part of the Outer Eastern Carpathians.
Svydovets hosts one of the ten units of the Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.
The higher peaks include:
- Blysnyzi (Близниці - 1883 meters)
- Tataruka (Татарука - 1774 meters)
- Dohjaska (Догяска - 1764 meters)
- Unharjaska (Унгаряска - 1707 meters)
