Sulthankada is a village in the Idukki district of Kerala, India. It is located between Pampupara and Anakkara.

Area of this place is between Churuvli Valavu & Keerimukku. Kumily or Kumali is approx 13 km from here. The PIN Code is 685 551 (Under Pampupara PO, Vandanmedu SO) and the STD Code is 91 (0) 4868.

Most of the people here depend on Cardamom estates for a living. Most inhabitants are Tamils, who migrated here from Cumbum, Vellore, etc. for a living and agriculture. Half of the people are Hindus, the other major religions are Christianity and Islam.

The name of the village is derived from Sulthante kada (Sulthan's shop), after the first shop keeper in the village, a Tamil Muslim called Sulthan.

The famous Chittampara Vinayakar Temple is one kilometer from here. The famous Mariyamman Temple at Pampupara is also nearby. A temple dedicated to ChakkulathuKavu Bhagavathi located here attracts devotees from nearby areas. Sulthankada has a mixed population of Roman Catholics, Jacobites and Orthodox sects of Christianity and the Sunny sect of Muslims. Also there are 10+ Pentecostal Churches and prayer halls are located in this area.

The famous Siva Parvathi Temple Anakkara, St. Thomas Catholic Church Anakkara are in the neighbourhood of this village.

The initially migranted families of this area are Areekkal, Puthumana, Thenganal Pillais, Puthanpurakkal, Cheruthana Sree Nilayam and Kakka Muslims (most of them are from nearby Kottayam District).

The famous Ayurvedic Resort Sree Sankara Garden is situated here.
