Geography
Stoney Point is surrounded by Tampa Bay on three sides and Sunset Park on the east.[2] The neighborhood is part of the South Tampa district.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 130 people and 50 households residing in the neighborhood. The population density was 4,585/mi². The racial makeup of the neighborhood was 99% White, 0% African American, 0% Native American, 0% Asian, 0% from other races, and none were from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were about 7% of the population.
There were 50 households out of which 38% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 74% were married couples living together, 6% had a female householder with no husband present, and none were non-families. 20% of all households were made up of individuals.
