Stanikzai

Stanikzai (Pashto; ستانکزئی) or Stanizai (Pashto;ستانیزئ) is a subtribe of the Pashtun Khilji tribe. Its found in Afghanistan, mainly in the Logar Province, and Pakistan, mainly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Most tribe members speak Pashto and are Sunni muslims.

The Stanikzai are further subdivided in clans. amongst others the Khushal khail, Saleh khail, Tor khail , Gulmat khail , Jaber khail , Rustam khail and many others.
