St. Joseph’s Convent School was founded on 6 January 1905 by the Indian Province of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambéry. The school is run by the sisters of St. Joseph. The institution imparts education up to 10 + 2 levels. The school campus is divided into two main sections: the Sishu Bhavan (pre-school) and the high school (primary, middle and high school). The school has a roughly three acres campus with more than 30000 students studying currently. The school has been ranked No. 1 in Sagar with high quality education. .
