Sola Church (Norwegian: Sola kirke) is a parish church in Sola municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Solakrossen. The church is part of the Sola parish in the Tungenes deanery in the Diocese of Stavanger. The stone church was built in 1955 to replace a much older medieval church. The building, which seats about 260 people, was designed by the architect Gustav Helland.[1][2] The congregation has grown significantly since this church was built and in 2015, the parish council approved a plan to build a New Sola Church in Solakrossen to be completed in 2019 or 2020.[3]
