The Slovenian Supercup (Slovene: Slovenski superpokal) is an annually contested football match between the football club that has won the Slovenian PrvaLiga and the club that has won the Slovenian Cup. Prior 2007, the match was held only twice, in 1995 and 1996. However, since 2007 it has become an annual event held in July and is considered as the start of the new season.
