Singing the Faith

Singing the Faith is a hymn book of the Methodist Church of Great Britain. The hymnbook was first published in 2011.

The decision to produce a new hymn book to be used in addition to the existing Hymns and Psalms was taken at the Methodist Conference of 2009. Since the publication of Hymns and Psalms in 1983, many new songs had been written and the objective was to produce a book that contained many of these together with many traditional hymns.

Of the 790 hymns, 89 were written by Charles Wesley (1707–88), brother of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. The most represented hymnwriter of the 20th century is John L. Bell (b. 1949), who has 43 hymns included.

Singing the Faith Plus [1] is an electronic hymn resource 'designed to support and complement the ... hymn book'.[2]
