Shrikant (TV show)
Shrikant is a TV show based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyaya's novel Srikanta. The show aired on Doordarshan in 1985-1986.
It was directed by Pravin Nischol, and starred Farooq Sheikh, Sujata Mehta, Irrfan Khan,[1] Mrinal Kulkarni, Sukanya Kulkarni, Tiku Talsania, Asha Sharma with others.[2]
Synopsis
The show tells the story protagonist Shrikant (Farooq Sheikh). Sujata Mehta plays Raj Lakshmi. She nurses him to health when he is affected by plague. In Burma, he meets Abhaya (Mrinal Kulkarni), a woman abandoned by her husband (Irrfan Khan).[3]
