Shewa, also known as Shewa Adda or Razar City, is a town and Union Council of Swabi District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 34°14'0N 72°21'0E with an altitude of 340 metres (1118 feet).[2] It is an important business and trading point of Swabi District and the headquarter of Razar Tehsil.
Geography
The town is situated at the site of the old Hindu temple of the Hindu god Shiva, hence the name Shewa. Karnal Sher khan Interchange has been constructed to connect the area of Razar to motorway.[3] It is the site of the Aman-1 camp for internally displaced persons.[4]
