Sharon Kao (Chinese: 高靖榕; pinyin: Gāo Jìng-Róng; Wade–Giles: Kao Jing-Rong) (born August 22, 1991) is a Taiwanese actress. She is a partially of Bunun (Taiwanese aboriginal) descent. In 2006, she starred in a Taiwanese TV drama Curly Hair (Series of the Graduate) published by Public Television Service Taiwan.[1] And she starred in a Taiwanese film Leaving Gracefully in 2011.[2] In 2014, she made a cameo in Lucy as a Taiwanese TV anchor, directed by Luc Besson. In 2016, she starred in a Taiwanese film Lokah Laqi which directed by Laha Mebow, and she won the "Best New Talent" of the Taipei Film Awards (18th). The film Lokah Laqi also captured the titles of “Grand Prize,” “Best Director,” “Best Editing,” and “Best Narrative Feature” at the Taipei Film Awards as the biggest winner.[3]
