Sergei Belo (born January 4, 1970) is an Israeli ice hockey player. He is currently the head coach of the Israel national ice hockey team. From 1997 to 2010, he played in 14 Ice Hockey World Championships with the Israeli team.[1]
At the age of 7 he began to engage in playing hockey in the SKA Leningrad club (Sports Club of Army), which was placed on the Fontanka street. First it was defined as a goalkeeper at the age of 7 under the guidance of coach Eugeniy Tabolkin In fact of that all children desires to score goals, Sergei forced to change his role in the team to left forward in which he stayed until 1989 In his sport career in the Soviet Union and Russia remained loyal to his native club - "SKA" Leningrad He played in youth and junior club teams. Participated in following tournaments: - 8-th Championship of Leningrad - Juniors - The USSR championship among juniors - Bronze medalist of the USSR Armed forces Championship - 1984 - 4-place on the all-Union (USSR) Junior Games - 1986 - 1988 USSR Nations tournament Started to play in the SKA professional (master) team, . In addition to have been playing well for the farm club " SKA - 2 "
He immigrated to Israel in 1990 and began to play in the Netanya team, where he became the Champion of Israel. Since 1995, he continued to play in the Championship of Israel, where he played in the following clubs: Bat-Yam, Lod, Haifa, Maalot and Metula. He was Champion of Israel ten times. He was many times best player (MVP) of national Israeli League. Since 1996, in favor of an Israeli Ice Hockey National team. Since 1998, he was nominated as captain of the National team. Playing in Israel's National team won the award of World Hockey Championships: 3 bronze medals, 3 silver medals, 2 gold medals and a Gold Champion's ring in 2005 with head coach Jean Perron ( won Steanly Cup - 1983 with Montreal Canadiens ) . In 1999 in Prague (Czech Republic) graduated as hockey coach (IIHF). Participant of I and II Jewish World Championships, where he won silver and bronze medals. He is currently the head coach of the Israel National ice hockey team - won Gold medal in 2011 World championship in South Africa. Sergei has big and best friend and hockey partner from 1997 - Edy Revniaga. Together they won many tournaments and W. C. medals. Sergei respects him very much.
Belo has two children's: Anastasia and Niki.

The family immigrated to Israel in 1990.
Today , a successful businessman in the field of sports medicine . A shareholder is a chain of clinics for medical checkup of athletes state of Israel . Continues to be involved in the sport and medicine .
