Scott Blackwood

Scott Blackwood is an award-winning American novelist and short story writer. He's also published two books of narrative nonfiction on the rise of blues and jazz.

He grew up in Texas and attended the University of Texas before receiving an MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University.[1] He lives in Austin, Texas and teaches in the MFA Creative Writing program at Southern Illinois University.[2]
