Savarna
Savarna (English: caste Hindus) are considered part of the Hindu Varna system of social classes. Communities which belong to one of the four varnas or classes i. e. Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Sudra are called "Savarna". In the present-day context, they include all the forward castes. The Dalits and scheduled tribes who do not form part of the Hindu varna social system, are called Avarna.[1][2]
