The Sangping Formation (simplified Chinese: 桑坪组; traditional Chinese: 桑坪組; pinyin: Sāngpíng Zǔ) is a geological formation in Henan, China, whose strata date back to the Early Cretaceous. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.[1]
