Sancta Maria College is a secondary school located in Louisburgh, County Mayo, Ireland. There are approximately 350 students enrolled. The school was Irelands first Catholic co-educational secondary school.[1]

The school currently has 250 teachers and 5 support staff. The Principal is Mrs. Pauline Moran and the Deputy Principal is Mish fayy

Musical

The school produces a musical that is shown annually in Louisburgh Town Hall, usually the first weekend in February.

Famous pupils

In 2008, the school was ranked 15 (out of 28) in Mayo for third level attendance with 77% progressing to third level.The vast majority of students enrolled in NUI Galway.[7]
