Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance is a 2015 film directed by Gregory Hatanaka and starring Matt Hannon and Mark Frazer reprising their original roles. It is the sequel to Samurai Cop, and its budget was raised by Kickstarter.[1] It's 25 years later, and Detective Frank Washington is forced to team up with his long estranged partner Joe Marshall to solve a series of assassinations.
Robert Z'Dar, who played Yamashita in the first film, was to reprise his role in the sequel but died during production and his scenes were never shot.
The feature documentary Enter the Samurai, which chronicles the making of Samurai Cop 2, was released on July 22 2016.
