Samir Sfeir
Samir Sfeir (Arabic: سمير صفير), (born 1961), is a Lebanese composer[1] and record producer from Ajaltoun, Lebanon. His music career spans more than 25 years of countless chart-topping smash hits, and he is considered one of the most prominent composers of contemporary Arabic music. Contributing to the rise of many leading Arab artists from the 1990s until today's contemporary newcomers, he cites Wadee' El Safi, Sabah, Fairouz, Mohammed Abdul Wahab, & Said Darwish as his influences. Many of his Arabic songs have been sampled and translated to several languages around the world, including Turkish, Hebrew, Greek, Persian, African, and Indian.
Music Cooperations
Samir Sfeir has cooperated with leading Arab musicians in the Arab world to produce his records, most often with Tarek Madkour, and Tarek Akef as well as important songwriters in the Arab world, most redundantly Nizar Francis. He has contributed to the birth of many top Arab artists, most notably Wael Kfoury, Najwa Karam, Assi el Hellany, and Nawal el Zoghby. He also created numerous hit singles for Nancy Ajram, Elissa, Moeen Shreif, Myriam Fares, Diana Haddad, Melhem Zein, Bassima, Diana Karazon, Ahmed elSherif, Maya Nasri, Fadhel Shaker, in addition to cooperations with Assala, Ragheb Alama, Saber elRobai, Sabah, and Wadee' elSafi.
