Rose al Yusuf

Fatma al-Yussef (Arabic: فاطمة اليوسف),[1] also known as Rose El Youssef (Arabic: روز اليوسف) (1898 April 10, 1958),[2][3] was an Egyptian actress and journalist.[4]

The Arab Human Development Report 2005: Towards the Rise of Women in the Arab World described her as a "pioneer of the stage and one of the earliest actresses."[3] In 1925 she founded the news magazine Rose al-Yūsuf.[1] The The Arab Human Development Report 2005 said that she "was a woman unique in her time."[3] She had said "I made this woman myself."[3]
