Roopal Tyagi (born 6 October 1989 in Mumbai)[3] is an Indian choreographer[3] and television actress.[4][11][12][13][14][15][16] She played the role of Gunjan in the Indian soap opera Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee Tv.[17][18] Roopal participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 8 as wild card entrant but got eliminated after 1 week.[19][20] She was a contestant in Bigg Boss 9 paired up with Digangana Suryavanshi and later was eliminated in the second week of voting.[21][22][23][24][25]
Roopal started her career as a choreographer in 2007.[26] After she made her acting career with the role of Mansha in Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah.[26] She also acted in Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi. Most recently she was playing the lead role of Gunjan in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke.[27]
In 2012, she won two Zee Rishtey Awards for Favorite Behen as Gunjan and Rachana (Mahima Makwana) and Favorite Nayi Jodi as Gunjan and Mayank (Ankit Gera).[9][10] In 2013, she was nominated in the Indian Telly Awards for Fresh New Face as Gunjan.[28]
