"Rock the Party" is a single by English boy band Five. It was released on 11 December 2001 as the third and final single from third and final studio album Kingsize (2001). It was released exclusively in Europe[1] and Australia on 11 December 2001.[2] For the British release, "Rock the Party" was available as a double A-side with "Closer to Me", appearing on both the single and the group's Greatest Hits album.[3]
The song is based on a sample of Frankie Valli's "Grease," the theme song of the movie of the same name.
Music video
The music video, directed by Sean Smith, features an animated version of the band on their night out at a nightclub.
