Robert Surcouf de Maisonneuve
Robert Surcouf de Maisonneuve (Saint-Malo, 4 January 1671[1] — c. 1720[2]) was a French privateer.
Career
Surcouf de Maisonneuve captained the privateer Aimable under the reign of Louix XIV.[3]
Legacy
Amongst the descendants of Surcouf de Maisonneuve were Robert Surcouf[3] and Joseph Potier.[4]
