Rinoctes nasutus, the Abyssal smooth-head, is a species of slickhead that is found at depths of 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) to 4,156 metres (13,635 ft) in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans as well as possibly occurring in the Pacific Ocean. This species is the only known species in its genus. This species grows to a length of 19 centimetres (7.5 in) SL.
