Richard Oland, OC was a prominent businessman, a member of the Order of Canada and a member of the Oland family who own Moosehead Brewery.[2] Oland was killed in his office on July 6, 2011.[3] His son, Dennis Oland, was convicted by a jury of second degree murder for his death on December 19, 2015.[4]
