Riaz Ahmed
Riaz Ahmed was the main captain of the India men's national volleyball team from 1970 to 1979, and a member from 1969. He is known for leading his team to 4th place in the 1966 Asian Games. He was also a Sub-Inspector for the Andhra Pradesh Police and he also played Volleyball for the Department for 10 years until 1969 when he joined the national team. In 1980 he retired his jersey after playing nationally for about 10 years and playing professional volleyball for 20 years.
