Rho1 Cephei

Rho¹ Cephei (ρ¹ Cephei), also known as 28 Cep, HR 1989, HD 213798 is an optical double star located in the constellation Cepheus. The other component is Rho² Cephei, which is actually more prominent.

Rho¹ Cephei is an A3V star with an apparent visual magnitude of +5.83, and absolute magnitude of +1.85. It is located 62 pc from the Sun.

Rho¹ Cephei is located at Right Ascension 22h 29m 52.98s and Declination +78deg 49 arcmin 27.42 arcsec.
