Retin Obasohan (born July 6, 1993) is a Belgian professional basketball player, who currently plays for Sidigas Avellino of the Lega Basket Serie A.
Early career
In the 2010–11 season, Obasohan played for amateur team Kangoeroes Boom in the Belgian Second Divison.
College career
From 2012 till 2016, Obasohan played for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a member of the team in 2011–12 as well, but red shirted the season. In his last season there, Obasohan averaged 17.6 points per game for the team.[1] In 2016, he was named to the All-SEC First Team and was named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year as well.[2]
Professional career
Obasohan entered the 2016 NBA Draft, but went undrafted.[3] On June 28, he signed a free agent contract with the Sacramento Kings, as he went on to play in the 2016 NBA Summer League.
On August 5, 2016, Obasohan signed with Sidigas Avellino of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A.[4]
