Regimental museum

In countries whose armies are organised on a regimental basis, such as the army of the United Kingdom, a regimental museum is a military museum dedicated to the history of a specific army regiment.

List of regimental museums in the UK

England

• Army Medical Services Museum, Mytchett, Surrey
• The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment gallery is part of Wardown Park Museum in Luton
• The Border Regiment and its successors have their museum at Carlisle Castle
• Buffs Regimental Museum, Canterbury (closed 2009; collections subsumed into National Army Museum)
• Cannon Hall, Barnsley, S. Yorks. houses the Regimental Museum of the Light Dragoons (13th/18th Royal Hussars (Queen Mary's Own)) (closed 2016)
• Cheshire Military Museum (The Cheshire Regiment, 3rd Carabiniers, 5th Dragoon Guards and Cheshire Yeomanry), Chester Castle
