Refuah Health Center
Refuah Health Center is a Health Clinic located in the Village of New Square in Rockland County NY. Founded in 1992, Refuah Health Center is a community health center that provides health care in Rockland, Sullivan, Orange, and Ulster Counties in New York to all residents who need it, regardless of their ability to pay. Refuah was approved as a federally qualified health center in 2002.
Refuah currently operates three health centers. Refuah’s main health center is located in Spring Valley, which is in Rockland County. Refuah operates another health center in South Fallsburg, which is in Sullivan County, and, in March of 2012, Refuah opened a new health center in Spring Valley. Refuah also operates five mobile medical vans. In 2011, Refuah served 30,867 patients with 156,015 visits.

Refuah has received Level 3 recognition--the highest level of recognition--under the National Committee for Quality Assurance's Patient-Centered Medical Home program. To receive this recognition, a health center has to demonstrate that it has exceptional systems of care that help patients achieve the best health outcomes. Refuah has also received recognition under NCQA’s Diabetes Provider Recognition program, which demonstrates that Refuah has achieved excellent outcomes for their patients with diabetes.
