Rani Khedira (born 27 January 1994) is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for RB Leipzig.

Club career

VfB Stuttgart

On 28 January 2012 Rani Khedira had his debut for VfB Stuttgart II in the 3. Liga against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt.[1]

On 23 October 2012 he was promoted to the first team of VfB Stuttgart.[2] Rani Khedira extended his contract with VfB Stuttgart on 28 January 2013 until June 2015.[3]

On 1 September 2013, Rani Khedira made his Bundesliga debut for VfB Stuttgart in a 6–2 home victory against 1899 Hoffenheim.

RB Leipzig

For the 2014–15 season he moved to RB Leipzig.[4]

International career

He played for Germany at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Personal life

Khedira was born in Stuttgart to a German mother and a Tunisian father. [10] He is the younger brother of Germany international Sami Khedira.[11]
