Rahim Hobbenaghi
Rahim Hobbenaghi (Born in January 1960, Urmia) is the President of Urmia University since 2014.[1] He also previously served as president of Urmia university from 1997 till 2001.
Early life
Professor Hobbenaghi born in January 1960 in city of Urmia, West Azerbaijan province of Iran. He did his studies in Urmia city up to highschool. In 1979 he got accepted to veterinary program in University of Tehran. He is graduated with PhD in Veterinary from University of Tehran in 1985 and a specialty in Pathology Veterinary in 1995.
Professor Hobbenaghi is also a veteran of Iran–Iraq War and has participated in Before the Dawn, Dawn 1, and Dawn 2 operations as a member of 31 Ashura corps of IRGC.
