Radhika Chetan is an Indian film actress.[1] working primarily in Kannada cinema. She is known for her role as Indu Suvarna in her 2015 on-screen debut of Kannada mystery Thriller RangiTaranga[2] directed by Anup Bhandari and starring Sai Kumar, Nirup Bhandari, Avantika Shetty. She played the supporting actress role in the 2016 Horror Thriller U Turn[3]

Early life & Career

Radhika Chetan[4] was born in Mysore. She is an Engineering graduate from Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology, Mysore.[5][6] Besides being a film actress, she is a trained Kathak dancer[7] and is actively involved with theatre and also acts in short films[8]

In her big screen debut in Anup Bhandari's directorial Kannada Thriller RangiTaranga (2015),[2] she plays the protagonist character as Indu Suvarna, the wife of Gautam Suvarna (Nirup Bhandari). The story of the film revolves around Indu and her kidnap during their visit to her ancestral village of Kamarottu. She also played the role of Harini in the flashback which being her real character and Indu being her friend. Due to circumstances and realization Harini will have to take the name and adapt the lifestyle of her friend Indu, which turns to be the main plot for the movie. The movie was critically acclaimed for its screenplay, score and cinematography. Due to its word-of-mouth marketing the movie was a blockbuster in Karnataka and got tremendous response in its worldwide release. Following Rangitaranga, Radhika played a supporitng role in Pawan Kumar directorial Thriller movie U Turn.[9][10]
