RPM Records (United States)
This article is about a defunct American record label. For the British label, see RPM Records (UK).
RPM Records was an American record label launched in the early 1950s in Los Angeles. It was a subsidiary of Modern Records and part of the Bihari Brothers record empire.
B.B. King was one of the artists on its roster.[1]
The catalogues and master tapes were sold to Ace Records (UK) in the 1990s.
This is not the same RPM used by Tony Bennett, nor is it related to labels in the UK and South Africa.
