RJ Mathukutty
Biography
Mathukutty Keecheriyil popularly known as RJ Mathukutty, is an Indian radio jockey at Red FM 93.5,[1] film dialog writer, dubbing artist and an actor based in Kochi, Kerala. Although mainly a radio jockey, he is also active in other fields; he is known for his association with the television shows on One TV, Flowers,[2] Mazhavil Manorama and Surya TV and for his performance in the film Ithihasa (2014).
Early life
Mathukutty was born on 27 February 1985. He was raised in Perumbavoor, Ernakulam. He completed his bachelor's degree in Malayalam from the Union Christian College, Aluva in 2006. He joined Kerala Press academy in Kakkanad[3] for a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism. He started his career as editor trainee at Malayalam newspapaer Veekshanam.[4] He came to radio as a hobby and ended up as a radio host.
Career
He debuted as the dialogue writer for the movie You Too Brutus,[5] the film and the catchy dialogues in the movie both were widely accepted by the crowd.[6] The movie revolves around seven characters and how one incident connects them. It will have six climaxes, each one for each character. Sreenivasan, Tovino Thomas, Anu Mohan and Honey Rose form the main cast. You Too, Brutus directed by Roopesh Peethambaran. It is produced by Sheikh Afsal for Roundup Cinema.
Mathukutty anchored the TV shows Dhe Chef (Mazhavil Manorama) and Kutty Kalavara (Flowers Channel) in 2016.
