Quintype

Quintype, Inc. is a technology company headquartered in San Mateo, California. The company is known for its Quintype Publishing Platform that allows publishers and content marketers to publish, analyze, and monetize content in an easy-to-use, cloud, fully integrated platform. Quintype is a full-stack SAAS platform which includes front-end and back-end development and also offers developer services.

In September 2014, it was announced that the company secured $3.25M funding from Raghav Bahl, known as India's Rupert Murdoch.[1][2] In May 2016, Bloomberg Quint announced that they will use the Quintype platform. In January 2016,[3] Forbes published an article written by Amit Rathore "Who Will Win The Publishing Battle in 2016" [4]

Quintype's global customers include established companies and new start-ups. In November 2015, Mother.ly, a new media start-up for millennial mothers, launched their site on the Quintype platform to create and deliver personalized content to their customers without an in-house technology team.[5] In December, 2015, Swarajya Magazine, a 58-year-old media company based in India, announced that they will use the Quintype platform to run their newly launched online and mobile site.[6] Other online media companies who have successfully launched using the Quintype platform include The Quint (India's Huffington Post), The Wire, South Live and Quantov.

Quintype was founded by Amit Rathore, who previously co-founded and sold Runa to Staples Inc in October 2013, in September 2014.[7][8][9]
