Psychopathia Sexualis (Heinrich Kaan)
- Not to be confused with the later similar title book by Richard von Krafft-Ebing (1886) that is considered more influential
Psychopathia Sexualis (Latin for Psychopathies of Sexuality) is a book written in 1846 by the Russian physician Heinrich Kaan. In this work, Kaan transformed and reinterpreted the Christian sexual sins (homosexuality, masturbation etc.) as mental diseases.
