Project Giant Robot is an upcoming video game being developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii U. In the game, players will be able to build robots and then use them in battle against another. Players use the GamePad for a view from the cockpit of the robot.[1] The game was revealed at a small event on June 8, 2014, the day before E3 2014 officially began.[2]
Reception
Joystiq expressed skepticism about the depth of the game, suggesting that the game was not a full game, or even deserving of being a mini-game part of a larger collection. It said the GamePad was not any more integral to the gameplay than in other Wii U games.[3]
