The Professional Lacrosse Players' Association (PLPA) (formerly the Major Indoor Lacrosse League Players' Association or MILLPA) is the trade union of players in indoor lacrosse's National Lacrosse League.
It was founded in 1991 by Dave Succamore (a former Detroit Turbo), Peter Schmitz (a former Boston Blazer and current president) and 4 other players from other teams with assistance by labor attorney Ronald L. Jaros.[1]
