The Prince of Peace Preparatory School is a Catholic high school in Clinton, Iowa, United States. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Davenport.
It was previously known as Mater Dei High School and St. Mary's High School. The new full name is Prince of Peace Catholic Academy and College Preparatory School or POPCAPS for short. It is a parochial school under the Clinton Prince of Peace parish.
Prince of Peace is a class 1-A school with sports teams participating in the Tri-Rivers athletic conference. Its team is named the "Irish". The school has a band, chorus, quiz bowl, yearbook, newspaper and student council. It is competitive in Cross Country, ranked in state and winning its district in 2006. In 2007 they were the district champs and the placed fourth at State. Other sports that the Irish participate in include Cheerleading, Basketball, Track, Soccer, Golf, Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball.
