PRAG also known as Prag News (Assamese: প্ৰাগ নিউজ) is the oldest local news channel of Assam and the rest of the northeastern region of India owned by A M Television Pvt. Ltd. It was launched on 4 March 2001. It broadcasts news and various other programs in Assamese and English. The channel is based in Guwahati.[1]
