Platymantis papuensis is a species of frog in the Ceratobatrachidae family. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, coastal freshwater lagoons, plantations, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest.
