Piper (fish)
Piper is a fish of the halfbeak family found in warm seas mostly along the shore. It belongs to the genus Esox. Also, it is known for its ability to become transparent in water when threatened
It swims at the surface, occasionally leaping into the air. It is named from the noise it makes when taken out of the water.
