Albrecht Willem "Pim" Lier (July 22, 1918 – April 9, 2015) was a Dutch lawyer and jurist. He became well known in 1979 when he was revealed to be the Illegitimate son of Duke Henry of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, the prince consort and husband of Queen Wilhelmina. That made him a half brother of the then Queen Juliana and the uncle of current Queen Beatrix. He became a member of the Centre Party in 1984 and served as chairman until 1986. On December 18 of that year he decided to murder his wife because she was terminally ill, he shot his wife dead. For murdering his wife he served 4 ½ years in prison.[2]
