Phrynobatrachus krefftii is a species of frog in the Petropedetidae family. It is endemic to Tanzania. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forest, and ponds. It is threatened by habitat loss.
